At Cobblestone, our vision is driven by people. We strive to empower proven experts while developing high-potential talent to support our long-term strategic goals.
We aim for steady growth and ongoing expansion across the evolving landscape of the global commodities sector.
From being persistent innovators to making high-impact decisions, together we achieve what others classify as impossible.
Our people carry different stories, cultures, and ways of thinking. These differences strengthen our path toward building the Dream-Team, where unique talents combine to create something far greater than the sum of its parts.
Your contribution matters. With your perspective and ambition, you help elevate the Dream-Team to new levels of performance.
We believe in ownership, freedom, and accountability in all that we do. Each of our talented people owns a certain area of business that s/he is passionate about and is responsible for its growth, while also being urged to contribute to other areas for the benefit of the team. Our collective intellect, thirst for excellence, and quest for constant improvements to raise the bar allow us to achieve more as a team than our counterparts.
At Cobblestone, our growth is not only defined by an increase in our profits or expansion in new markets, but by the growth of our team members. We like to invest in the development of our people and provide them with career advancement opportunities to fill positions internally. The opportunities we provide to grow personally and professionally in a collaborative environment directly contribute to our overarching vision of bringing together extraordinary people and achieving extraordinary feats.
We don’t artificially manage and create a diverse and inclusive workplace. We just are. While our people come from more than 20 different nationalities, we don’t apply superficial labels to them. We see diversity as the broad range of life experiences, opinions, thought processes, and unique set of perspectives we bring to every aspect of our business. We focus on talent and strong cultural compatibility, recognizing that this can come from anyone from anywhere.
We aim to create an environment where people can grow, excel, and reach new levels of performance without compromising their overall balance.

If you are too, we could very well be the right place for you.
Yes, if your experience fits both. Two related roles is sensible. Half a dozen unrelated ones tells us you haven’t worked out what you’re good at, and it weakens all six applications.
Tailor each one. If two progress, we’ll talk to you about which fits better. Check the vacancy before you apply, because some Graduate and Early Careers processes limit you to a single application.
We look for sharp thinking and a track record of doing hard things well. That means taking ownership of a problem, working out what actually matters in it, and learning fast enough to keep up with markets that move every day.
Graduate and analytical roles list their academic or professional requirements in the vacancy, and we screen on those first. After that we want to know what you achieved: the hardest thing you’ve done, how you did it, and what you’d do differently now. A list of responsibilities tells us very little.
We hire graduates into full-time Graduate and Early Careers roles. We don’t run an internship programme. Final-year and final-semester students can apply where the start date works for the vacancy.
Tell us your graduation date and the earliest you could join. Some roles recruit for a fixed intake, so this matters more than candidates expect. Everything currently open is on our Careers page.
Our Recruitment team reviews every application against the requirements of the role. If you are selected to progress, we will contact you about the next stage and explain what it involves beforehand.
The process varies by role, and not every vacancy includes every stage. Most involve an application review, one or more assessments such as an online test or case study, a conversation with our Recruitment team, technical or role-specific interviews, a culture interview, a conversation with a member of our leadership team, and pre-offer checks. A full process typically takes six to eight weeks, depending on the role, candidate numbers and interview availability.
Where you complete an assessment or interview, we will inform you of the outcome. At the initial application stage, we may not be able to provide individual feedback to every applicant. If a stage has passed and you have not heard from us within the timeframe given, reply to your most recent email from our Recruitment team.
Yes. We welcome applications from candidates internationally.
For eligible Dubai-based hires, our current relocation support normally covers the employment visa, a flight to Dubai and initial hotel accommodation on arrival. The exact package and eligibility are confirmed at offer stage. Unless the vacancy states otherwise, you should expect to be based in the location advertised, which for most roles means working from our Dubai office.
Yes. An unsuccessful application does not prevent you from applying to Cobblestone Energy again.
If your application did not progress past the early stages, we suggest waiting around six months and using that time to strengthen the areas the role assesses. If you reached the final stages, we suggest closer to twelve months: you have already been assessed in depth, so a further application is most useful once you have meaningful new experience to show. You may apply sooner for a materially different role where your experience is a stronger fit.
We do not currently offer internships at Cobblestone Energy.
We do, however, offer full-time Graduate and Early Careers opportunities for candidates who are in their final semester of study or have recently graduated. All current opportunities are advertised on our Careers page, together with the relevant eligibility and application requirements.
Usually yes, but agree it first. Tell Recruitment your exam dates before you accept an offer and we’ll put the arrangement in writing.
We ask because the law here is narrower than most people expect. UAE statutory study leave is ten working days a year for exams, available only after two years of service and only if you’re studying at an approved institution inside the UAE. Joining with finals outstanding, studying online, or studying abroad all fall outside it, so anything we agree in those cases is at our discretion. We’re usually willing. We just won’t promise it by default.
We also support people already here who want to keep studying alongside the job.
No. You can progress within your current path or move across teams, desks or departments as your strengths and the needs of the business develop.
We encourage internal applications and prioritise internal candidates where there is a strong match, though we do not fill every vacancy internally.
Salary is competitive and reviewed regularly, with a performance-based bonus on top. You also get comprehensive private health insurance, a travel allowance, a Learning and Development budget, and company events and activities. Eligible employees can join the Cobblestone Employee Share Scheme.
Benefits depend on the role and are confirmed in your offer. The full benefits overview is maintained on our Why Work With Us page.
Yes. Submit your CV through our General Application and we will contact you if a suitable opportunity opens. Submitting a CV does not guarantee that you will be contacted or invited into a recruitment process, and you can ask us to remove your details at any time.
