What drew you to work at Cobblestone originally?
I first worked with Cobblestone in 2022. Initially, I had applied to work here just as any other job for a fresh graduate. However, when I learnt about the nature of the company, trading in commodities…largely power at the time, I picked even more interest in the company. As Cobblestone’s HQ moved to the UAE and trade in Europe all seemed very interesting. The rate at which it was growing, along with its values immediately pushed me to join.
What do you like the most about your team?
At Cobblestone, no one is right or wrong. We are constantly sharing ideas to get better. Working in in Treasury, we are faced with changing situations on a daily basis, but what I love most is the continuous learning with discussing with all desks to find solutions to daily challenges. You learn so much from each other.
What is the best part of your job?
The open door policy. I can easily walk to top management and discuss any challenges that we have to get a long term solution while learning. Working with understanding supervisors who are always willing to listen to not only challenges at work, but also getting to know you personally. You add so many important work and life skills to yourself at Cobblestone.
Why would you recommend Cobblestone Energy as a place to be to others?
You will always learn additional skills to yourself that would not only drastically improve your value, but also encourage you largely to think outside the box constantly to find solutions through quick thinking. I came with a limited skillset at Cobblestone, but within a short period, I had added a lot more technical skills to myself. If you’re looking at growing, I can only recommend Cobblestone.

I was drawn to working at Cobblestone because it operates in a niche market and to me this meant engaging in a challenging yet exciting opportunity that provides room for continuous learning and growth.

What I like the most about my team is the cultural diversity.

I learn something new all the time and I never get bored.
